Lincoln Way Central Meet

This week is part 2 of the Christmas Break Schedule.  Big bits of information for practice are all swimming is still at 9:30-11:30am at The Tower.  Dryland in the AM goes West/South/West (Mon/Tue/Friday)

Tomorrow on Monday 12/29 we have a meet at Lincoln Way Central.  All swimmers who are in town are swimming.  We will start AM practice at 7:15am.  Soon as we are done with AM practice we will drive down to the High School.  The meet warm-ups start at 9am.  Meet Starts at 10am.  I am expecting the meet to be over by 1pm.

Christmas Week

Start with a quick recap of our meet at OPRF.  Obviously, OPRF is a tremendously deep team and continues to show off that depth.  To be honest they are the next stop on the program development "progression".  A quality program that will send kids to state, but also have every single championship season swim be a contender to score points and make a difference for the team.

New Team Best Times...
TBA

Event Winners...
Chris Bean

Moving forward to this week.  Since school is out we will be having a different schedule this week.  Please check the calender.  Attendance will be taken the same as normal.

For AM weights at West(re: tomorrow 12/22) I am not certain if the building will be unlocked.  I have gotten 2 different stories.  We will play it by ear.  So please be ready to hang around a couple of minutes to make sure we can get in.

If you are not going to be able to compete at Lincoln Way Central on 12/29 I need to know ASAP.  It is a mid-morning start.  I expect to be back in Glen Ellyn around 2pm.

Finally, COD is going to be closed until February.  I have already started looking for solutions for January.

Chris

COD is closed

Going to be a bit brief as still on my phone.  The entire schedule for this week is posted on the calendar.  Please check the calenear now and email me with any questions or conflicts.  Entrance to DGN is on the West Side of the building enter through the courtyard area.  The Tower entrance is on the eastside of the building then head down to the basement.  I do not know where the entrance to Carol Stream Park District is, but practice is at the Fountain View Recreation Center.

Congrats to the Blue team on winning intersquad week.

Mornings go West/South/West

We have a meet at OPRF on Friday.  Everyone needs to leave immediately after school.  Meet starts at 5pm.

Final Score Update

Last night at swim practice we played UltimateFootballRugby.  The blue team got 7 points, while the green team got 2 points

This morning we played Shirt Tag and the Blue team won again for 5 more points.  So the simplified final score going into the intersquad meet tomorrow is....

Blue - 12
Green - 0

Basically like having to win the meet without diving.....

Intersquad and Schedule

First the update to the Intersquad Scoring

Relays went in favor of the Blue team 10-5.  Dryland races went in favor of the Green team 8-3.  Meaning the current score is....

Blue - 22
Green - 20

Moving forward to next week.  COD is closed next week.  The calendar through the end of winter break has been posted.  Couple of quick notes.  Despite the super late night practice times on Monday and Wednesday of next week we will still have morning practices.  Talking to the boy's they understood and agreed it was probably for the best.

Finally we do have a meet over winter break.  This is a limited entry meet(not everyone may be able to swim).  As such please let me know ASAP if you are unable to make the meet so that I can make the proper lineup the first time.

Intersquad Week

Before I get into the Intersquad week information, a quick wrap up from last weeks Tri meet.

We did a tremendous job from top to bottom on Friday.  We ran away with the JV level, and just lost to Hinsdale South at the Varsity level.  It was a tremendous show of how far the program has come since 2 years ago when we last swam Hinsdale South.  We were almost 20 points closer to HS in the Varsity level and went from losing JV to more than doubling their score in JV.  Kudos to everyone involved(both athletes and parents) on staying the course and really building a great foundation for the future of the program

First Full Week of Boy's Season 2014

Starting tomorrow on December 1st the Boy's season starts in earnest with a full standard week.  The full calendar is posted on the calendar tab.  The attendance has also been updated and is now correct.

Once  COD closes on December 13th.  The tentative schedule is as follows...

On school days we will be practicing from 3:15-5:15pm @ Oakbrook Terrace Tower.  This is certain on T/R I am still discussing on M/W.  I will update calendar and a post once I figure it all out.

Over Xmas break we will be swimming from 9:30am-11:30 am daily.  We will also be lifting on a daily basis, so check the calendar.

I know this is all extremely complicated, but the COD pool closing came late and has been a bit tricky.  If you have questions let me know.

As for this week.  AM practices start tomorrow.  The schedule this week is West/South/West.  Please note practice starts at 0600 sharp.  Showing up late is unacceptable.

At West enter the front doors of the fieldhouse.  The fieldhouse is the lower building across from the main school building.

At South enter Door 19.  I will prop the door open at roughly 5:50am.  Please note this door gets closed and locked at 6:00am.

All AM practices will end at roughly 6:50am.  This should be plenty of time for everyone to shower and get to class.

Tomorrow, we have our team pictures immediately after practice.  Please workout carpools as neede to make sure that everyone can get back to West.

Finally, our first meet is this coming Friday at Hinsdale South High School.  Everyone is expected to leave immediately after school.  Once we arrive we will warm-up/workout before the meet.   This is one of our biggest meets of the year with opening the season against other glenbard.  I will update with any further information once I hear from the coach.

Meet Week #2

Okay lots of information, but I will try my best to keep it brief.

Thursday at Hinsdale Central.  West/South bus order.  This will be their Senior night, so be prepared.  They almost always do diving in the middle so super long mid-meet break.

Friday is Senior Night at B.R. Ryall YMCA.  Warm-ups will be at 5:30pm, meet will start at 6:00pm.  We will be done by 7:15pm, not counting post meet festivities.

Saturday we are at Metea Valley Invite.  I have yet to recieve a meet packet, but soon as I do I will build the line-up and we will sort out entries and leave time.  This will be communicated at practice.

Morning practices this week....  This week we will begin the transition into the Sectional and Conference rest groups.  So here is each groups schedules

J/V - M or W, whichever is home
Conference - Monday & Wednesday
Sectionals - Monday & Wednesday + Friday @ South

This will be further communicated at practice.

Finally, tech suits, sorry for no prices but I haven't received them.  Tech suits fall into 3 categories-

Entry level - This can range as anything from a new suit to a FS Pro.  Ultimately as long as the suit is tight it doesn't matter much else. These are normally not kneeskins.

Cheap Tech Suit - These suits are stitched suits.  Such as the FS Pro, or some of the lower tier Arena options.  The thing to know about stitched suits is that any bagging of the fabric gets extremely problematic very quickly.  These are all kneeskins

High-end tech suit - These are "bonded" suits.  These are what you see on TV anytime that swimming is on television.  These are the suits that legitimately changed the sport of swimming.  I do hate them, but they are amazing and make people faster.  There are roughly 25 different suits on the market, ultimately find one that fits.

Please get these ASAP as if they don't have one in stock they have to order.  Try them on if needed.  Swimmer's Edge in Woodridge is an amazing resource for suits, so please call them and order from there.

I will be communicating a ton of information through practice, so please ask me if you need anything.

Week of 10/12

No practice on Monday 10/13.

Very solid week of competition last week.  Though we lost to DGN, I felt it was our best performance during a midweek meet so far this season.  Saturday we completely ran away with the meet.  Despite only winning 2 events(to LWN's 7) we still won the meet by 90 points.  Huge show of team on Saturday and I'm extremely proud of the way it was done.

Andrew Week

Another relatively uneventful week.  Please note there will be another blog posts later in the week about tech suits.  Check back on Wednesday to see it.

Last week wen went to York and got to swim some off events.  Obviously, we lost, but we did swim very well and could have put our selves in contention with them if we wished. Not ideal amount of stress on the kids though so I try to stay away from that.

No event winners.

This week we are at DGN on Thursday for a dual meet.  Format should be identical to York with diving first, but not for certain.  Bus will go West -> South -> DGN.  Meet is scheduled to start at 5PM.

Saturday we are at the Andrew Invite.  Traditionally one of our big meets of the season.  We are the defending champions and people will be gunning for us.  This is a limited entry meet with 3 individual entries and 2 relays per event, so roster could be as small as 12 kids.  Bus leaves at 8am.  Location is TBA.  Meet starts at 10AM.  Anyone not swimming is encouraged to attend, Varsity underclassmen not swimming really should be there.

Triple Meet Week

Very busy week this week.  So please make sure to read through everything.

First, morning workouts this week will go West/South/South.  Format on who is supposed to be at morning practices will remain the same.

Also on Monday West has a freshman orientation during the PLC time.  We will once again be doing a white bus shuttle for the freshman.  They must be in a hurry as the bus will be leaving very quickly after the freshman are released.

Thursday we will be competing in a meet at OPRF High School.  The bus will leave from West at 3pm, head straight to South at about 3:10pm.  The meet is scheduled to start at 5pm.  This is one of our longest drives of the year due to traffic.  The return trip will be the exact same in reverse.

Friday we will competing in the prelims of the West Chicago Invite.  This is a limited entry meet and athletes will know if they are competing by practice on Tuesday.  Athletes who are competing will ride the bus from West at 3pm, then South at 3:10pm, meet starts at 5pm.  Any athlete not competing is encouraged to attend the meet and cheer.

Saturday we will be competing in the finals of the West Chicago Invite.  All athletes who compete on Friday will be required to be there, regardless of finals swims.  Once again athletes are encouraged to be at the meet regardless of competition standing.  All athletes will ride the bus from West at 10:45am.  Meet starts at 1pm.

I know there is a lot going on this week, so please let me know if you have questions.

Post Meet Wrap-up and No Meet Week

So before I start looking ahead to the next week I need to write a quick wrap-up of the previous 2 meets.

Thursday we had a fairly solid showing against Bartlett.  Though we lost Varsity 103-67, we did win the JV 105-49.   A great showing of depth by the girls, but shows how a couple of strong swimmers can carry at team.

New team best times were.....
Hana Beckham
Marley Beckham
Mallory Bissett
Sophia Bruun
Annabel Davis
Claire Ficarella
Emily Garza
Julia Hall
Kasia Kostelic
Patrice Labos
Paige Lay
Rebecca Lekatsos
Siena Pierce
Sammi Schroeder
Emily Weigand

Saturday we competed at the Lyons Relay Invite.  This meet included 3 of the top 5 teams in the state in Loyola, Naperville Central, and Rosary.  It was a great oppurtunity for the girls to see an entirely different tier of swimmers.  Hopefully, they all took home something positive.  We finished 8th, the same place as last year.  A good sign as we had 3 kids taking the ACT vs none last year.

New team best times were....
Annabel Davis
Emily Garza
Julia Hall
Hannah Jenkins
Patrice Labos
Rebecca Lekatsos
Maddie Skirvin
Emily Weigand

Moving forward to this week.  Dryland this week goes West/South/West.  On Saturday we will have Varsity only practice from 9:30-11:30am at Esplanade Fitness Center.  Some JV athletes may be invited, will be determined later this week.

Monday at West is a freshman orientation day.  We may need 1 driver to help get athletes from the high school to practice.  If you are available please let me know, so that I can plan accordingly.  2:35 is the supposed release time.  I know of no other conflicts about getting to the pool the rest of the week.

Inside and Meets

A bunch of new information to present this week, so please make sure to read everything.

First, we have 2 meets this week.  Thursday we are at Bartlett for a dual meet.  Saturday we are at Lyons Township for the annual relay invite.

Thursday we will be riding a bus to and from the meet.  The bus will start at West at 3pm, go directly to South approximately 3:10, then to Bartlett.  The bus will start at South at 3pm, then go directly to West approximately 3:10pm, then to Bartlett.  The bus will then make the opposite trip on the return. This is currently listed as a 4:30pm start, but I will look into that further.  The meet will start at 5pm.  All athletes are going to this meet, any athlete who is not competing(attendance etc.) will still be warming up prior to the meet start.

Saturday we will be riding a bus to and from the meet.  The bus will leave from West at 7am.  Due to it being Saturday we will not be stopping by both locations, so everyone will need to get to West.  This meet is athletes competing only, but any athlete who isn't swimming and wishes to go can come with us on the bus and cheer the team on.  The meet will be very fast with 3 of the top 5 teams in the state at the meet, including Loyola who is currently the favorite to win.

Finally, we will be inside at COD starting on Monday.  Monday is a PLC day for both schools, so athletes will be following their normal carpools.  For all other days of the week athletes will fall into 2 categories, early release and normal release.  My understanding is both normal release groups have their carpools figured out.  For the early release group, my understanding is South is taken care of.  For West I will be emailing out the carpool schedule for the parents whom have volunteered to help drive at 2pm.  This will go out tomorrow morning so please get back to me ASAP if that doesn't work for you.

Speaking of COD, they will need to close to pool at some point and fix an issue, I don't know when but it is going to happen.  Just giving everyone the heads up now.

Morning practice this week will go West/South/South.  As usual Varsity at all practices, JV only at home.

Labor Day Week

First and foremost, congrats to the Blue team for a hard fought victory.  I feel this is a great example of how swim meets can work.  Green team either won, or finished 2,3,4 in the entire first part of the meet. However, 1 big event swung the entire meet.  A final difference of 2.2 points between the 2 teams.  This is less than a point in basketball for comparison.

Next all practice times are posted on the calendar.

If you will be missing a meet please let me know ASAP. I have already started planning meet entries, so the more notice the better.

This week. Monday AM @ west 7:45, then to Butterfield @ 9:30. All athletes are to be there, regardless of level.

Wednesday morning @ South
Friday morning @ West

Finally, we are driving/carpooling this week. If you have not gotten me the swimming specific waiver by end of practice Monday the athlete will not be able to practice due to policies.

Intrasquad Update

Fell a couple of nights behind on the Intrasquad

Wednesday was the relay challenge.  The T-shirt relay and the Kickboard relay were split 1-1, so no points change.  The boat race remained undefeated, though Green team was the closest to victory yet.  Overall 5 points a piece with no change in the differential

Thursday was dryland games, namely octopus tag and snake.  Octopus tag saw the Green team earn 4 points.  The Snake game was won by the Blue team by a score of 8-4.  Once again no change in the differential

Current Scores
Green - 38
Blue - 37

A couple of reminders.  Tonight at 5:40(ish) we will be starting the skits.  Everyone is highly encouraged to come watch.  However, the athletes will still have to ride the bus back to school, just wanted to make sure everyone knew.  On Saturday, we will be competing in the annual Intrasquad meet.  Once again, everyone is encouraged to come and watch.  Meet will start at about 10am and will run till right at 11:30am.  Normally a lot of fun is had, so everyone is highly encouraged to come watch.  And regardless of weather we will be having practice....

Finally, practice calendar is basically complete for the entire season.  If anything looks amiss, please let me know.

Dryland Challenge Update

For the 2nd day of the intersquad week we competed in the dryland challenge.  Athletes worked in pairs for a quick 3 minute workout.  Before I get to the scores I do want to say great job from everyone cheering and supporting your teammates, regardless of what side they were on.  Would award bonus points for it, but everyone was doing it

Today
Green - 9
Blue - 3

Total
Green - 30
Blue - 29

Tomorrow is relays, and the return of the undefeated boat race.

Bus Update and Trivia

So update for the rest of the week first.  We will be having a bus every day for the rest of the week.

Bus will leave from West at 2:45p
Bus will arrive/leave from South between 2:55p
Go to butterfield for practice, then reverse on the way home.

Moving forward, starting Saturday, everyone will need a transportation waiver.  This is for transportation to practice, as everything gets figured out further I will let everyone know.  Hopefully all details for Labor Day Week are finalized by Wednesday PM practice.   Please email me for a digital copy of the transportation waiver, I will have paper copies tomorrow.

As for the trivia challenge.  It would appear that I need to up the difficulty. The current scores are....

Blue 26
Green 21

Practice at Butterfield till 6pm.
The bus will then go the opposite route, with South first, then West.

For all other day's of the week I will post a new post, as well as tell the girl's at practice on Monday.  Much of this week will be up in the air due to things just not being figured out yet.

Suit Fitting

Suit fitting will be on Wednesday immediately following swim practice.  Suits are I believe $61.50, the vendor can accept cash, check, and credit card.  He will also have some caps, goggles, and some other minor accessories.  If anyone is interested we are using the Speedo Razor Dot.

I do also have all the picture order forms.  I will have them with me both tomorrow and on Wednesday.  If any of the freshman parents want to grab a form tomorrow please feel free to stop by the pool and pick one up.

Everyone that missed dryland today due to the orientation will be making up dryland on Thursday.  I will find out the exact time tonight and post it to the calendar.

Finally, please send all emails to both the glenbard.org account and the gmail account.  The First Class server is having some issues at the moment and bouncing at seemingly random times.

First Full Week

First and foremost, thanks to everyone who came and tried out.  I am pleased to say everyone will be continuing on.

Second, apologies to the Glenbard South group about the ImPact Testing.  Confusion on my part.

If you have your own gear, please bring it tomorrow.  We will be seeing how much more gear needs to be purchased.

Now then, moving forward.  The calendar for this week is finalized and posted.  I was off on the approximate weightroom time so I apologize.  This is extremely important, as we have a lot of time and will be taking the time to teach all the lifts/movements we will use throughout the season.  Video Demo's at the end of the post, these are required viewing as it will make everyone come in more prepared.

We do have suit fitting this week, likely on Monday or Wednesday immediately following swim practice.  Girl's will have to purchase their own practice(any) and meet suits(including tech at the end of season if they desire).  This is due to the fact the cannot be reused the following season.

Wednesday night we also have parent/athlete meeting.  All athletes need to attend, as well as at least 1 parent for each athlete.  The whole athletic department meeting is at 6:30pm at Glenbard West.  The Swim Team only meeting will hopefully be at 5:30pm at Glenbard West.  We try to go before as the athletic department meeting doesn't have a firm timeline.  I will update the blog and inform the girl's as soon as I know all specifics.

Finally, team pictures are scheduled for Thursday at 1:00pm at Glenbard West.  I know we do a lot of the early season stuff at West, but please understand that the program is technically registered through West, so they run all of our IHSA administration requirements.

Finally the necessary knowledge of lifts.  Some of these are extremely long, apologies.  All exercises can also be found on catalyst athletics, but without instructions.

Monday
Squat - warning shirtless male
Press - video ends at 2:28

Wednesday
Deadlift - video ends around 3:00 mark
Pull-up - video ends at 2:20

Friday
Clean - video starts at 1:50
Front Squat
Pendlay Row - From the guy who invented it

We will also do other exercises including but not limited to...
Push-ups
Lunges
Run
Flat Rows
Handstands
Snatch
Wall Ball
Sit-ups
Bounds
Jump and Touch
Burpee

ImPact Testing

Quick note.  All athletes are required to complete and ImPact test prior to Monday practice.  Due to our schedule falling in the middle of the available times the only available date is tomorrow August 15th at 10:30am.

Immediately following practice everyone needs to go to West and meet in the Library. The testing should only take 20-30 minutes.

For more information on ImPact Testing click here.

I will have weight schedule for next week hopefully by this time tomorrow.

I will also have team meeting information hopefully by this time tomorrow.

Conference Week 2014

First, if you haven't picked up a suit yet, get a suit.  Any questions let me know.

Conference group is done with AM practices.  Sectional group has AM Monday at West and AM Wednesday at South.

Everyone has standard PM practice.  Including dryland for the conference group on Tuesday and Thursday.

Saturday Conference is at Lyons South High School.  Due to the ACT on Saturday we have a late start.  Warm-ups will be at 12:30, and the meet will start at 2pm.  The girl's meet lasted right at 4hours, traditionally the boys meet is a little faster.  Basically, don't make plans for Saturday night.

The conference group will be riding the bus on Saturday, if we can secure one(lots of funky schedules due to the weather and no one knows for certain if we can get a bus yet).  I should know by practice tomorrow if we can get a bus.  If we can't get a bus from a school I will reach out to borrow one from other sources.  The current plan is to leave from South at approximately noon, we will adjust as needed.

Quick note on how I build the line-up.  I will always build the F/S level first, then Varsity, then J/V.  I feel this allows the most number of kids to swim their best events, and allows some of the younger kids to be as competitive as possible.  With us being in arguably the strongest conference in the state(not this year, arguably was last year) we still have some catching up to do(only about 50 years behind York the youngest team in conference besides us).  Everyone is swimming 2 times at a minimum.

Metea Week Finally Starts!

Okay, so looks like we are onto the week, finally.

Tomorrow morning all boys have practice.  On Friday only the Sectional group will be having practice.  We will be discussing location with the group and posting later.

Tomorrow morning we will be at Glenbard South.

There is a chance that we will be making up our Hinsdale South/Other Glenbard Tri meet on Thursday I will post as soon as I find out.

Friday we are at Hinsdale Central.  Everyone needs to head to the meet immediately following school getting out.  It's their Senior Night so the meet will be a bit longer than normal.

Saturday we are at the Metea Valley Invite.  Boys that are competing need to be ready to get in the water at 8:30 am.  Meet starts at 10am, and normally last 3-4 hours.  I will post the roster tomorrow at practice.

If you haven't picked up a suit yet, get this done ASAP.  Swimmer's Edge knows people are coming and should be ready to help you.

Finally, great job over the weekend.  I was getting fed results while I was gone and looks like everyone swam very well, I actually had live results rolling from Saturday's meet.  We will debrief tomorrow and looking forward to the start of Championship season.

First Invite This Weekend

This weekend will be a very busy one.

Before we get into that I just wanted to thank everyone for helping on Saturday night.  Great job by all the swimmers as the bizarro mojo of the Y holds true for the boys as almost everyone went a team best time.  Score for that meet doesn't matter, but we did win.

So moving forward to this week.  First, practice on Monday and Tuesday will be at the normal time in the afternoon.  Monday AM will be at 8am(the boys should have received a text).  Wednesday and Friday AM are both at South(Wednesday is same as last week).

Friday night we are at Lyons Township for their Senior night.  Athletes need to be their and ready to swim by 3:45pm.  Please be prepared for a longer night as they have upwards of 70 athletes on their team.

Saturday is our first invite of the season.  Couple of notes about the meet.  First, it is a limited entry meet.  I will have the roster of whom is swimming by Tuesday practice.  Any athlete not swimming is encouraged to attend(and earn bonus attendance).  Athletes competing need to be at the pool by 11:45am and ready to swim, meet starts at 1pm.

I will be traveling to Indianapolis this weekend and will be missing both of these meets.  Coach J will be getting results and emailing them to me over the weekend.  Relays can and will be updated before the meets.

Since I am traveling I won't be home to almost midnight on Sunday.  As such a shortened update for next Monday.

Monday night we have a meet at Hinsdale South.  Once again we need to start warm-up by 3:45pm.  Other Glenbard will be there, and athletes are going to be expected to be fired up and ready to race.

Time to get the Suits

Normal week this week to start with.  Mornings will go West/South/West.

Friday night we are at Downer's Grove North.  This will be the last of our "winnable" conference meets.  I'm looking forward to the boy's stepping up and getting after it.  Everyone needs to be ready to get in the pool at 3:45pm.  We were their Senior night last year, not sure if we will be this year as well.

Saturday night we will be having our only "home" meet of the year when we swim St. Francis at the BR Ryall YMCA.  We will warm-up from approximately 6-6:20 Meet starts at 6:30ish and will be over by 8:00ish.  We do have normal morning practice on Saturday before the dual meet.

First, a note about the Hinsdale Central Invite and Metea Invite.  These are both limited entry meets.  I will not be able to take everyone to those meets.  I will only be taking the best possible team to those meets.  Athletes not competing at those meets will be alerted ahead of time and be given an opportunity to earn bonus attendance upon attending.  This is being shared due to the staggering amount of freshman.

I am aware finals begin this week.  We will be following the same procedure as last year.  Morning practices on dates of finals are optional.  Attendance will be taken, but athletes who miss will be excused.  Afternoon practices are still required.

Finally, the suits.  I am referring to the high end, ungodly expensive, necessary evil that is tech suits.  Tech suits are the suits that everyone is wearing when you turn on the television and happen to find swimming.   At this point in time I only have 3 styles of suits to recommend(prices updated later).

Blue Seventy -  There are 2 styles of suits.  Nero XII(the older one) and Nero TX(the new one).  Basically the same suit, don't think the XII is being made anymore.  These are my favorite brand of suit.

Speedo FS LZR Elite - Basically the same suit as the Blue Seventy, but more expensive.

Speedo LZR Pro - By far the weakest of the previous options, this suit MUST fit perfectly.  Any extra space in the suit will cause a massive amount of billowing in the suit.  It is the cheapest, but it must fit.

If you want to learn more about the suits in general please check the backlog of the blog.  If you aren't going to use one of the listed suits please check with me before you purchase.  Athletes who will be using old suits please bring them in for me to check.  This needs to be taken care of ASAP, so ask questions if you need.

First Full Week of 2014

First off, no practice on Monday January 6th.  This is by district decree.  Athletes are encouraged to still try and swim on their own or with teammates if they feel safe doing so.

We will be returning to the normal schedule as soon as school opens back up.

Mornings are as follows Monday West(cancelled), Wednesday South, Friday South.

Thursday is our first meet in a few weeks as we will be swimming at York.  We will be in the water at 3:30pm as York is by far our easiest/closest drive of the season, and we have making up to do.  York traditionally starts with diving, but otherwise will be a meet of similar length to the first couple of meets.

Finally, Please note Saturday's time and location.  We need a yards pool on Saturday, so we have to be flexible.

Sorry for late notice but the roads are still getting worse.

When I left this morning at 5:00 the roads were actually in pretty good shape.  Sorry.
