Conference Week 2014

First, if you haven't picked up a suit yet, get a suit.  Any questions let me know.

Conference group is done with AM practices.  Sectional group has AM Monday at West and AM Wednesday at South.

Everyone has standard PM practice.  Including dryland for the conference group on Tuesday and Thursday.

Saturday Conference is at Lyons South High School.  Due to the ACT on Saturday we have a late start.  Warm-ups will be at 12:30, and the meet will start at 2pm.  The girl's meet lasted right at 4hours, traditionally the boys meet is a little faster.  Basically, don't make plans for Saturday night.

The conference group will be riding the bus on Saturday, if we can secure one(lots of funky schedules due to the weather and no one knows for certain if we can get a bus yet).  I should know by practice tomorrow if we can get a bus.  If we can't get a bus from a school I will reach out to borrow one from other sources.  The current plan is to leave from South at approximately noon, we will adjust as needed.

Quick note on how I build the line-up.  I will always build the F/S level first, then Varsity, then J/V.  I feel this allows the most number of kids to swim their best events, and allows some of the younger kids to be as competitive as possible.  With us being in arguably the strongest conference in the state(not this year, arguably was last year) we still have some catching up to do(only about 50 years behind York the youngest team in conference besides us).  Everyone is swimming 2 times at a minimum.
